Expensive: In the $100 to $200 range, you’ll find foldable and reclining models in high-quality hardwoods and polywood. These chairs can withstand tough weather conditions. Premium: For over $200, you’ll find Adirondack gliders, swings, sets of two or more chairs with a table, and other variations on this backyard favorite.
I talked to the manufacturer direct; they are trying desperately to restock and suggested checking online regularly.
Most iconic chairs are extremely expensive to purchase. No so for Adirondack chairs! Given the ubiquity of these chairs, the variety of material types, and classic universal look and feel, these are a must in virtually any backyard. They are available in many designs, from cheap plastic to classic wood to beautiful poly resin materials, and hit every budget.
A: Typically, poly furniture is stain-repellent, which means it’s not prone to stains. However, over time, you may find your poly furniture may accumulate some debris or dirt that’s difficult to get off with soap and water. This phenomenon may happen if you live in an area where wind or frequent storms kick up dirt or dust. Or, it may be more likely if you use your furniture daily, especially if you’re eating and drinking while using it. Combine 1/3 bleach with 2/3 water. Remove any decorative items on the furniture, such as cushions or tablecloths, to avoid accidentally staining them with the bleach solution. Apply the bleach/water mixture to your poly furniture, then let it sit on the surface of the furniture for a few minutes. You can also use a soft-bristled brush to work the bleach/water mixture into the grooves in the surface or to loosen difficult stains. Don’t worry — this won’t damage the surface or change the color of your furniture! Rinse thoroughly with a hose, then allow to air dry.
What is the store address in Vegas? I will be there this week and I would like to try and see if I can get some. Thank you.
The second image shows the chair folded to 12 1/2" (3.81cm) and can hang on the wall of my garage. To fold the chair, push on the back and walk it forward into the folded position. To open the chair, pull up on the back. The chair will open to the reclined position, then pull on the back support to put it in the regular 65 degree angle. To recline the chair, while sitting in it, reach back and pull the back support forward. Lean back and relax!
However, our team is working hard to process all orders and requests as quickly as possible.

Incidentally they are the most comfortable Adirondack chair I have set on because the back is more erect that some. I think my costumers visiting my studio will enjoy them. 4.0 out of 5 stars Artistic accent for the deck By J.Binford-Bell on May 21, 2017 Bought three of these chairs for my studio deck. I am an artist who lives in the Mountains of New Mexico. A key selling point of this chair was that it folded down and could be easily stored out of the weather in the winter. But another plus was that it came in pieces. Pieces I could paint any color for that artistic accent for my studio. I only have two assembled so far. Need to buy more paint for the third which will be in sunset colors. One chair for solitude, two for companionship and three for company.
Choosing the best material for outdoor furniture is a matter of research and education. You have to know how materials compare in terms of price, durability, and of course looks. Outdoor furniture is made from different materials, each one having its own pros and cons.
Oak: Durable and solid, oak is a popular wood for all types of furniture, and for good reason. It’s heavy, giving Adirondack chairs a solid feel, and it’s beautiful. The price is comparable to that of pine and cedar. However, maintenance is another matter. Direct sunlight can cause streaking or color changes. Oak chairs should be kept in the shade, and they will need a UV-protectant stain.
A: Poly furniture contains high-density polyethylene plastic, which is the name for the type of plastic you’d find in milk jugs. When consumers recycle their milk jugs and similar items, one way the recycled plastic can find a new life is in getting manufactured into “wood-look” pieces. There’s no lumber included in these pieces. It’s all high-density polyethylene plastic, which means it’s easily moldable and stands up well to moisture, sunlight and frequent use. Craftspeople can then transform those versatile pieces into a wide variety of outdoor furniture options.

Highwood Hamilton’s Adirondack chair line has a great deal to offer, with three different scales, a folding option, a reclining option, a good warranty, and several colors to choose from. Compared to some of the other pieces on our list today, these colors are a bit… conservative, but they are attractive.
